Cardio - 09.27.2009

This is a mixset of songs with a beats-per-minute rate of 140 or higher, making it great for a cardio workout. It also gives me a chance to use Ford's remix of Rob Thomas' "This Is How a Heart Breaks," the maxi single of which I was finally able to add to my collection after a couple years of searching.

Madonna Megamix #2

Here is the long-awaited Madonna Megamix #2. I was intentionally waiting for her latest single (the Paul Oakenfold-produced Celebration) to become available so I could include it in this mixset. However, when I purchased Oakenfold's Main Mix, I was very disappointed. Some vocals were muffled and hard to hear, other lines of the vocals had been removed altogether. I spent a little time to make my own version of Oakenfold's Main Mix, and that mix is included here.

I've been wanting to redeem myself for the way Give It 2 Me worked into the first Madonna Megamix (the very first post of this blog) so I've included it again, this time using Oakenfold's Extended Remix as opposed to Eddie Amador's House Lovers Mix (which I also like quite a lot).

Hey folks sorry for the absence... I'm not really a fan of Country music, but as my good friend DJ Pony says "the purpose of a remix is to make a song better." Therefore, remixes of Country songs are good. Now I know I've used Wynonna's song Sing a couple of times already, but I just freakin' LOVE that song! This time I used the Almighty mix.
